About Driftwood to Gold

Our Name

Years ago, I attended a wedding that changed the way I thought about weddings.

The couple’s story was woven throughout the ceremony with poetry, music, and personal reflections. It wasn't simply a script—it gave everyone a glimpse into who they were, how they found each other, and why they were choosing one another.

I remember thinking, this is what a wedding ceremony should be.

We spend so much time planning the reception, but the ceremony is where the union happens. It is where two people stand together and make their promises to one another. That belief became the inspiration behind Driftwood to Gold.

Driftwood is shaped by its journey. Carried by changing tides, weathered by rough water, and softened by time, every piece becomes unique because of what it has experienced.

My parents recently celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary—more than 50 years of marriage together. Growing up with their example as well as being married for 19 years myself I have a lasting appreciation for the commitment, friendship, patience, growth, and love that go into building a life together.old represents what becomes precious with time.

Together, Driftwood to gold reflects the beauty of lasting love—the years, adventures, challenges, memories, and moments that shape a life together.

Your Officiant

A Little About Me

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of bringing people together through communication, connection, and meaningful experiences. I’ve served as Master of Ceremonies for military events, spoken to audiences of more than 600 people, and created and facilitated both large- and small-group experiential learning events designed to engage, connect, and inspire.

As a wedding officiant, I bring that same experience and care to every ceremony. I believe your ceremony should feel personal, genuine, and reflective of the two people standing in front of me—not like a script that could belong to anyone.

I’m also blessed to be the mom of a beautiful daughter who is building her own career in the wedding industry, as an incredibly talented hairstylist. I love being surrounded by the creativity, excitement, and emotion that come with celebrating love, and I’m grateful to be part of such meaningful moments in people’s lives.

I listen to your story, then help you create a ceremony that feels genuinely yours.

Because when the flowers are gone and the music has stopped, what remains

is the promise you made to one another.

That moment deserves to be yours.
